This just may be the perfect rear bag!!
This idea was brought to us by Robert Duhaime, the inventor of Long Gong. Robert had been running our Flatty and was very happy. He asked if we could build a wedged shaped bag and sent us his drawing for what he had in mind. After a few changes from his original design, both on his part and on ours, we came up with what may be the perfect rear bag!
This bag will allow down to about 1.5" and up to 6". The bag works best when very full of firm material, such as sand and Spexlite Code 3. Code 3 is a little more flexible and almost half the weight.
The bag can also be used as a low profile front bag by just laying it on it's side.
A normal rear squeeze bag requires muscle input from the shooter, squeeze or relax the bag to gain or reduce the amount of elevation needed. As anyone knows who shoots precision, any muscle input can cause shaking and fatigue. I've had shooters complain of their hands being absolutely worn out and sore at the end of a match just from using a rear squeeze bag. This bag can eliminate the muscle input as the wedge quickly and easily gains or loses elevation just by moving the bag away or towards the stock.
