Precision Rifle Rimfire Course

I had a good friend of mine, 30 years back, tell me, "The day you think you know everything about a subject is the day you will never learn anything else." -Gary Reese

That has stuck with me and the older I get the more I try to learn.

I've heard this before:  "rimfire is for kids, women, plinking pop cans, squirrel hunting......I SHOOT CENTERFIRES!"  Cool story.  Let's talk about that real briefly.  A 6.5 CM being fired at 2630fps has a flight time of 1.07 to get to 750 yards.  How many of us have a convenient way to shoot that far, not many.  That leaves you unable to practice, not learning wind, bullet drop etc.  You take that rifle out and shoot 100 yards and call it good to go.  Now compare a 22lr, that round at 1100 fps takes the same 1.01 seconds to travel 300 yards.  The bullet is light, 40 gr vs. 140 gr, that means the wind has a lot more effect on the bullet and your learning experience goes up exponentially. 

Go buy yourself a good accurate 22lr and shoot it, you won't regret it.

Getting yourself behind the rifle correctly

Natural Point of Aim

Proper trigger pull

Scope set up and how it works

Use of bipods/shooting bags

Setting up a ballistic calculator for your personal rifle and how to use it

Going out to further distances to see/understand bullet drop, wind, ballistic coeffient

Shooting off different props

This class requires 5 students, I cap it at 5 so everyone gets enough attention to actually learn and improve.  

These can be scheduled any day of the week, I will make announcements on our Facebook page when a class is coming up.  

Each class is at least 6 hours.
