Kestrel 5700 Wind Vane Tower

This is our tower wind vane mount for the Kestrel 5700.

The Kestrel very securely snaps into the mount and the lower section is meant to go into an ARCA clamp.

The same mount used for holding the Kestrel can be put on the included Tower and is meant to be mounted when you have other components next to it on your tripod and want a constant wind direction and speed update.  The tower itself is 8" tall giving you the  clearance to swing over your range finder, binos or spotting scope and is able to swivel a full 360 degrees.

The vane itself is removable for transport.  We use an oil impregnated bronze bearing and steel shaft for the swivel on our 3d printed mount.
